Terms and Conditions of Entry for You Meow Ltd.
By signing this Terms and Conditions of Entry contract you agree to strictly adhere to the conditions detailed below.
Safety
The following conditions are to ensure the safety of the Customers, the cats, and the staff. Any breach of the terms and conditions stated shall be considered an act of negligence by the Customer or Guardian of Children. You Meow Ltd. shall not be held liable should any of these conditions be breached. Any breach may result in temporary or permanent exclusion from the Premises.
Do not pick up the cats;
Do not pull the cats' tails;
Do not wake a sleeping cat;
Do not feed the cats;
Do not push the cats off chairs, sofas, tables, or any object;
Do not touch the cats with your feet;
Do not hold the cats down or attempt to force them to remain in any area or position;
Do not attempt to corner or trap the cats in any area or position or chase a cat;
Do not run in the Premises;
Do not make loud noises on the Premises;
Do not carry hot drinks around the Premises;
Do not use electronic cigarettes or vaping devices on the Premises;
Do not play your own music within the Premises;
Laser pens and torches are strictly prohibited;
Cat toys or any other equipment for the purpose of interacting with the cats is strictly limited to that which is provided by the staff;
Keep mobile communication devices (including, but not limited to, mobile telephones, tablet PCs, computers, and laptops) on silent mode or muted;
If you are allergic or intolerant to any of the following or suspect that you may be so, you must ensure you have sought advice from a relevant medical practitioner, such as a GP, prior to entering the Premises:
• Cats;
• Latex;
• Sodium Bentonite;
• Silica;
• Anigene;
• Tetrachlorvinphos;
• Permethrin;
• Carbaryl;
• Propoxur.
All media taken within the premises remain property of You Meow Ltd. and must be provided upon request to the café. Any use of media taken within the café used on any platform must be removed if requested to do so by You Meow Ltd. You Meow Ltd. agrees to personal use of pictures in a way that does not challenge the ethos and public opinion of You Meow Ltd.
Customers enter at their own risk.
Liability is not accepted for damage or loss to any property brought into the café by a customer.
Customers accept that due to the nature of the premises, there is an element of risk to person and property, and by entering agree that this is an acceptable risk.
Children
Children of any age are permitted on the Premises; however, the following additional terms and conditions apply to the Guardian(s).
Children must remain under the supervision of the Guardian(s) at all times and must comply with the rules stated above. Be aware of children near the stairs at all times please.
YOU MEOW LTD WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY In consideration of the risk of injury while participating in being in the presence of and interaction with cats (the “Activity”), and as consideration for the right to participate in the Activity, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily enter into this waiver and release of liability and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind whatsoever, including but not limited to, claims of negligence on the part of YOU MEOW LTD, arising out of my participation in the Activity, and do hereby release and forever discharge YOU MEOW LTD, located at 23 Bath Lane, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE4 5SP , their affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, partner rescues, and partner shelters, for any physical or psychological injury, including but not limited to illness, paralysis, death, damages, economical or emotional loss, that I may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the aforementioned Activity or any events or activities conducted on the Location of, or for the benefit of YOU MEOW LTD.
I AM VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THE AFOREMENTIONED ACTIVITY AND I AM PARTICIPATING IN THE ACTIVITY ENTIRELY AT MY OWN RISK AND I ASSUME ANY AND ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ACTIVITY FOR MYSELF AND MINORS FOR WHICH I AM RESPONSIBLE, IF ANY. I UNDERSTAND THAT AS PART OF THIS ACTIVITY I WILL BE IN THE PRESENCE OF AND INTERACTING WITH CATS OF ALL SIZES, SHAPES, AND TEMPERAMENTS. FURTHER, I UNDERSTAND CATS CAN BE UNPREDICTABLE IN NATURE AND MAY BITE, CLAW, OR SCRATCH ME OR MY RESPONSIBLE MINORS AT ANY MOMENT. FURTHER, I UNDERSTAND THE RISK ASSOCIATED WITH ALLERGIC REACTIONS TO CAT DANDER WITHIN THE FACILITY AND EXPOSURE TO TRANSFERABLE INFECTIONS SUCH AS RINGWORM AND CAT BODILY EXCREMENT INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO URINE, FECES, VOMIT, AND BLOOD. I AM ALSO AWARE OF THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATING IN THIS ACTIVITY, WHICH MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, PHYSICAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL INJURY, PAIN, SUFFERING, ILLNESS, DISFIGUREMENT, TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT DISABILITY (INCLUDING PARALYSIS), ECONOMIC OR EMOTIONAL LOSS, AND DEATH. I UNDERSTAND THAT THESE INJURIES OR OUTCOMES MAY ARISE FROM MY OWN OR OTHERS’ NEGLIGENCE, OR THE CONDITION OF THE ACTIVITY LOCATION(S). NONETHELESS, I ASSUME ALL RELATED RISKS, BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN TO ME, OF MY PARTICIPATION IN THIS ACTIVITY.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless YOU MEOW LTD against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney’s fees and any related costs, if litigation arises pursuant to any claims made by me or by anyone else acting on my behalf. If MEOW LTD incurs any of these types of expenses, I agree to reimburse YOU MEOW LTD.
I acknowledge that YOU MEOW LTD and their directors, officers, volunteers, partner shelters, partner rescues, representatives and agents are not responsible for errors, omissions, acts or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific event or activity on behalf of YOU MEOW LTD.
